Eight-thirty in the morning, a parking lot in Chandler, and a slip of paper with one thing written on it. That's how this starts.
The Vintage Mall Crawl is a loop through seven antique malls across the Valley, run as a shared hunt. Everyone writes down one thing they're looking for and drops it in the Ask Box. You get a crew of three, a radio, and everybody else's list. Your crew is also your car.
Nobody has to buy anything. Finding is the game.

HOW THE HUNT WORKS
Crews of three. Each crew carries its own three wants all day. Channel 11 carries the wanted list, leads called to crews by name, and crews calling each other. About thirty minutes a stop — when a crew is done it radios "Crew Two, clear," and when most crews are clear, the group rolls.
BRING
Cash in small bills. Booths negotiate; cards don't. Water, sunscreen, and shoes you can stand in for six hours.
HOW WE DRIVE
Nobody follows anybody. Every crew has every address and drives its own way. The passenger works the radio. Crews stay whole. Spurs go as a whole crew, announced, and rejoin on a fixed time. Radios don't reach across spurs — phones do.
