Learn to lead, follow, and connect through Argentine tango.
David Liu leads Sunday Tango — a weekly class exploring the art and connection of Argentine tango. All levels welcome, from complete beginners to experienced dancers.
Each session begins with fundamentals — posture, embrace, and musicality — before moving into guided partner work. David breaks down the lead-follow dynamic in a way that's approachable and immediately rewarding. You'll walk, pivot, and connect. By the end of your first class, you'll be dancing.
Single men and women are very welcome. Partners rotate during the class — you don't have to if you don't want to, but it's a great way to learn. No partner needed to attend.
This is a living room, not a studio. The group is small (usually 6-12 people), the music is classic Argentine tango, and the vibe is warm and unhurried. David and his students are friendly — expect to laugh, make mistakes, and feel the difference between moving and truly dancing.
Shoes that won't fly off your feet, and clothing that gives you freedom to move. Socks or soft-soled shoes work great on the wood floor. Water bottle recommended.
This series feeds into RoseCourt's signature formal events including the Spring Tango Classic, where Sunday Tango students get to showcase what they've learned in a beautiful, curated setting.

Absolutely. David starts every class with fundamentals. He and his students are friendly — most people are dancing by the end of their first session.
